Plush stuffed animals - featuring poseable & wearable shoulder dragons / dragonets and a veritable menagerie of other mythological / fantasy creatures. These are not action figures, but three-dimensional art pieces -please treat with due care. All pieces are individually crafted -not mass-produced. That which was not sewn by hand, was sewn by foot. [A large part of the sewing is done with a foot-powered treadle sewing maching.] Each piece is therefore unique and one of a kind. Except as noted, these pieces are not recommended for small children.     -most have wire armatures and glued jewel eyes that can create a choking or puncture hazard. Shoulder Dragons - inspired by the Fire-lizards of Anne McCaffrey's Dragonriders of Pern Shoulder Dragons are available in three sizes: hatchling, adult, and giant. One of the first makers of shoulder dragons, when Cheryl read Dragonriders of Pern, she wanted a fire-lizard of her own, and unable to find any, she made one. At ren-faires and conventions she was showered with accolades, asked where she got her little friend, and asked if she would make another. Thus was born her first line of soft sculpture - now with 30-plus years of expertise and satisfied owners. Four legs plus wings, with varied degrees of poseablity. Signed and numbered (except the child-safe). These dragons can easily perch on your shoulder, wrist, or just sit in your lap, shelf, or wherever. Each comes with a care-and-feeding scroll - a copy of the individual's serialization (certificate, if you will). Legs attached with Velcro and doll joint hinges. Ridges are done in fabric and 3-D sculpted (quilted). Carved and painted (matched to body colors) basswood head with hinged jaw. Fairy Dragons [35" long by 12" high.]        Available only in combinations listed below. Felt back ridges and toe nails. Small oval or round jewel eyes. Wired head to tail tip. Hand and airbrush painted butterfly wing designs. Foam teeth and tongue. Complimentary metallic & cotton multi-colored thread whiskers and beard. These dragons can perch on your shoulder (the wings may be a bit cumbersome), wrist, lap, shelf, etc. Comes with a care-and-feeding scroll - a copy of the individual's serialization (certificate, if you will).           price: $35.00 each When ordering a Fairy Dragon just indicate main color. Cold-Drake - inspired by Dragonworld by Byron Preiss & Michael Reeves. Upright stance, two legs plus wings, open mouth, and varied degrees of poseablity. Signed and numbered. Available in all fabric colors. Only velour fabrics are surface washable. Not small child safe. These dragons can perch on your shoulder, wrist, lap, shelf, or wherever. Dragon of the Valkyr - (based on the story by Steven Simshauser). Upright stance (wired back from head to tail tip), large wings (wired leading edge and wing claws), long neck, wired legs attached with Velcro and doll hinge joint, wired 5-toed feet, and hand sewn diamond scaled neck/belly design. Eyes are blue cat eyes. Available in most fabric colors. All are signed. Usually metallic or vinyl belly and undersides of wings the rest of body is velour. Twin ear crests. No ridges. Gylarian (Young Ryanon): [40" long, 56" wingspan] Above features combined with closed mouth design, unscaled legs and feet, unwired secondary wing spars, wired wing-claws, closed pouch. SHIPPING AND HANDLING Standard is U.S. Postal Service, First-class / Priority Mail delivery, with tracking, to U.S. addresses. Other destinations, carriers, and special handling are available. Please contact us for pricing. Basic packaging shipping is $10.00 and covers the following:             up to 4 Fantasy Freeway Flats, or Unicorns, or Pegasus.             OR up to 2 Griffin Chicks, or Hatchling Shoulder Dragons, or Small Cold Drakes.             OR 1 each of any other creature -except Phoenix, Polarus, Valkyr and Giant Dragons.    Mix-n-match combinations are fine -such as a Small Cold Drake and a Hatchling;             or a Freeway Flat, a Pegasus, and a small Cold Drake together in one box.
